Terms And Conditions

1. General Terms

  • By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
  • These terms may be updated periodically; the latest version will always be available on our website.

2. Booking and Payments

  • All studio bookings must be made through our official website or approved channels.
  • We accept payments through credit/debit cards, and payment installment services (e.g., Klarna or Affirm, if offered).
  • We do not accept cash, checks, or money orders as forms of payment.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled session will receive a full refund. 
  • Unfortunately, if cancellations are made with less than 48 hours notice, no refund will be issued. However, sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours notice.
  • The rescheduling window is limited to one week from your original booking date. Beyond this timeframe, you will need to book a new session entirely. Please note, you are allowed only one opportunity to reschedule (unless you hold a membership).
  • Sessions can’t be rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice and are not eligible for a refund if you cannot attend the booking.

4. Studio Use Policies

  • Anyone that enters the studio must sign in on the sheet provided upon entering the studio.
  • All equipment should be handled with care; any damage caused may be charged to the client upon review of security camera footage.
  • The client is responsible for the conduct of any guests brought to the studio.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the studio.

5. Membership

  • Memberships operate on a 30 day basis starting on the day the membership fee is paid; Membership fees are non-refundable and memberships are non-transferable
  • Any unused hours in one 30-day period DO NOT rollover to the following month and CAN NOT be refunded.
  • Members can contact the studio management if they would like to upgrade their membership at any point.
  • Membership terms may be updated periodically, and any changes will be communicated to members.

6. Loyalty Programs **

  • Clients can earn points on bookings and purchases, which may be redeemed for discounts or perks.
  • Points accumulate based on each purchase and are valid for up to 12 months before expiring if unused.
  • Loyalty points are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

7. Affiliate Partnerships

  • The studio has partnered with Amazon as an affiliate, offering recommended equipment through affiliate links.
  • By purchasing equipment through the affiliate link, clients help support studio improvements, as the studio earns a small commission on qualifying purchases.
  • Using the affiliate link is optional, and clients can still receive loyalty points on studio-related purchases even if they do not use the affiliate link.
  • The studio may provide an Amazon storefront featuring curated podcasting equipment recommendations for clients who want to set up and record their podcast from home.

8. Session Logistics

  • If your session involves recording multiple episodes, or you expect to require changes to microphones, cameras, or sets, please notify the studio in advance so that we can prepare accordingly.
  • For sessions that require adjustments, additional time must be booked. For example, if you book a 2-hour session but need time for mic, camera, or set changes, you must book a 3-hour session to accommodate these adjustments if you are planning to record close to 2-hours worth of content.
  • Failure to account for extra time will result in a charge for additional hour(s) before your files are transferred.

9. File Transfer

  • In order for file transfer to be as quick and seamless as possible, we encourage you to arrive at your session with an SSD Drive.
  • If you do not arrive with an SSD Drive, there is a $75 charge for our engineers to upload and send your files via Dropbox; This payment can be made at the conclusion of your session and must occur prior to files being uploaded.
  • Only master audio and video files can be sent via Dropbox.
  • If you would like audio stems and ISO angles, you must arrive to your session with an SSD Drive.

10. Liability and Indemnity

  • The studio is not responsible for any personal items lost or stolen during your session.
  • Clients agree to indemnify the studio against any claims arising from the use of the facilities.

11. Privacy Policy

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the website.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes, we encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve the issue.
  • Any unresolved disputes will be handled according to the laws of New York state.
